Title: Costumes, Body Paint and Five Frightening Words

Run Time: 23 min 28 secs

Host: Luke Rodgers

Panelists: Oktober, Major Monocle, Nabbit

Click Here To Play! (or Right click to download!)

Topic: Costumes, both Good/Bad/Embarrassing

  • Nabbit starts off the show by saying his favorite costume is his birthday suit.
  • Major Monocle enjoyed dressing up as “Big Papa” Smurf, however his beard became a solid white mass due to his choice of hair coloring product.
  • Nabbit gets two of his costumes recommended, his Ghost Buster costume (with functioning proton pack!) and his Edward Scissor Hands costume. Both had their problems but the second one put a damper on his imbibing.
  • Diving into the past the panel tried to remember what they wore out to trick r treat in their youth. Luke dressed as Link from Legend of Zelda (but with pants), Major Monocle dressed as The Green Ranger, Oktober went as a cute wolf (which lead to some uncomfortable interaction with the animal kingdom).
  • Nabbit was more inclined to hang out and decorate the yard. And Luke still doesn’t know how he lost Nabbit’s strobe light, which he has been apologizing for for decades.
  • Some of the Worst costumes…mainly Luke’s. Lensman (There are pictures on the internet…not posting them here.)

Game: Five Word Films: Halloween Addition

This is where the panelists get 5 words from the description of a movie and try to guess what the movie is. And the answer will probably never be Actual Cannibal Shia Labeouf.

Title: Paranormal Reality TV, Sh-Mediums and Life Coaches

Run Time: 24 min 48 secs

Host: Luke Rodgers

Panelists: Oktober, Major Monocle, Nabbit

Click Here To Play! (or Right click to download!)

Topic: Paranormal Personalities, Mediums And all the Tricks.

  • Nabbit expresses his love of the brilliance of GhostBusters
  • Major Monocle feels the prolific use of sh-mediums damages Zak Bagans’ credibility a bit.
  • Oktober states that the show has remained entertaining and shows off some interesting places.
  • Oktober feels that Ghost Hunters (TAPS) started out more legitimate but devolved into just entertainment. The opposite of how Luke feels about Ghost Adventures.
  • Nabbit take a more D-I-Y approach to ghost hunting. Including this branded EMF detector.

Game: Life Coach

This is the game where we pick one of our panelists to be a “sacrificial lamb” and have them leave the room (or put on ear muffs) and the remaining cast decides what or who this person will be. Then the “sacrificial lamb” must ask questions and try to figure out what the panelists have decided they are.

Oktober guesses the answer to who she is by asking questions like “Am I a person?” and “Am I a Kardashian?”…when really she would’ve known the answer if she would have asked if  “She was a plane?”

  • Oktober enjoys the spooky-ness of insane asylums.
  • Oktober and Luke say that Nightmares Fear Factory (Niagra Falls, ON in Canada) was one of the best haunted houses ever. (Nabbit is so jealous)
  • Oktober and Nabbit talk about the sense of danger you could get as a kid 2 streets over home.
  • The attraction we all haven’t gotten to yet is less known by it’s proper name, the C and K Autumn Fest. Better known, perhaps, as the West Virginia Pumpkin House.
  • Luke heads down memory lane to some of the fun props that Nabbit’s Halloween parties had….like chalk outlines and Jeff Goldblum.
  •  Nabbit brought up the Mothman festival in Point Pleasant, OH. Which has a museum and the Mothman statue.
  • Luke says that Las Vegas is a great tourist destination if your looking for everything from Adults only to more family friendly events.
  • Nabbit and Oktober relate the time that a Halloween event went horribly (and dangerously) wrong.

Game: The “Drink It or Sink It” Challenge

This time the panel gets to try out the “Swamp Zombie.” A rum drink with some tropical and tart flavors. The entire panel enjoyed the visual appeal and the strength of the this particular libation. By using dry ice and SideKick glasses you can make this drink a real show stopper. The recipe is available here.

  • Nabbit’s dinner table is strictly for show, while Major Monocle’s is now just an over glorified TV stand.
  • Nabbit searches for the meaning of party…. from nacho’s to people passed out.
  • Nabbit questions whether the party culture is informed by the advertising and messages presented during these events.

Title: Misty Day Was Robbed and Who is the Walrus?….

Run Time: 26 min 08 secs

Host: Luke Rodgers

Panelists: Oktober, KatieLou (and eventually Major Monocle)

Click Here To Play! (or Right click to download!)

It’s all about American Horror Story;  past, present and future.

  • KatieLou has a horror-on for Ryan Murphy
  • Oktober enjoys anything involving Misty Day
  • KatieLou has some interesting tinglings for her favorite scene…. from AHS: Asylum
  • Discussions ensue as to which series was the strongest and which one didn’t quite make the grade.
  • No Spoilers for AHS: Freak Show, but we really wanted to…
  • Oktober and KatieLou both went back and watched the first series just recently, which lead to discussions about all the various connections between AHS: Hotel and the murder house.
  • The panel sings the praises of the entire cast, including the incomparable Zachary Quinto
Game:  Life Coach

In this game the panel decides what the player is and the player has to guess what it is by asking questions.

Major Monocle tries to guess what the panel has decided he is by asking a series of probing questions, such as  “Am I a unicorn?”  and “A person/ athlete/Centaur?”
