Recipe: Passione Fresco


This is a take off on the traditional French 75. Instead of the champagne we’ve substituted Moscato (if you like fizzy drinks use a Moscato d’asti, but add to the mixture after you shake it, to keep the carbonation) for a sweeter taste. The Elder Flower liqueur is intended to add a floral note along with the citrus of the lemon.



  • 2 Lemon wedges
  • 1 1/2 oz Gin
  • 1/4 oz  Elder Flower Liqueur (I prefer St. Germain)
  • 1 1/2 oz  Moscato ( I used Seven Daughters here, because its lightly sweet)

                           Optional:  1 tsp of Powdered Sugar (this all depends on the type of Moscato you use, some are sweeter than others. Warm your pallet up with a taste of your Moscato choice to determine whether you want it needs the sugar)


Put 1 1/2 oz of Gin and Elder Flower Liqueur into a mixing tin with ice.

Squeeze your Lemon Wedges into the mixing tin. (I have a pet peeves about seeds in a drink that is served Up, so use a strainer or clear the seeds from the lemon first)

Top the mixture off with the 1 1/2 oz of Moscato.

Give it all a shake or a swish and serve up in large cocktail glass .
